Neuro-Acupuncture

What Is Neuro-Acupuncture?

Neuro-Acupuncture integrates Acupuncture with knowledge of brain and nervous systems functioning. Neuro-Acupuncture combines classical acupuncture principles with evidence-based neuroanatomy and neurophysiology.
The goal is to stimulate specific points that influence brain regions, nerves, and neural pathways, encouraging neuroplasticity, circulation, and nervous system balance. It is safe, non-invasive and creates good results.

Neuro-Acupuncture can be administered on the scalp, body, or ears.  This unique method of acupuncture allows for targeting specific pathways to the brain and helps re-establish the connection between the brain and body to help alleviate symptoms. Neuro-Acupuncture can be done with electricity when indicated and has been shown in research to have profound effects on the Central Nervous System.

How Neuro-Acupuncture Works

Treatment may include:

  • Scalp acupuncture (targeting brain regions)

  • Peripheral nerve stimulation

  • Motor & sensory point activation

  • Electrical stimulation (when appropriate)

  • Integration with movement or rehabilitation therapies

Each plan is highly individualized, based on neurological presentation and goals.

Results vary based on condition severity, timing, and consistency
