Vibration Therapy

What Is Vibration Therapy?

Vibration Therapy uses controlled mechanical vibrations to stimulate muscles, nerves, circulation, and the nervous system. These gentle, targeted vibrations activate proprioceptors, improve neuromuscular communication, and support neuroplasticity.

It can be applied locally or to the whole body, depending on the therapeutic goal.

A treatment that uses mechanical vibration at certain frequencies to stimulate nerves and muscles to help provide better circulation, strength, balance, and stability. Vibration Therapy can also help recover lost proprioception and re-associate the body to spatial awareness for better brain function.

Conditions Vibration Therapy May Help Treat:

  • Muscle soreness and fatigue

Autonomic Nervous System & Stress Regulation

  • Dysautonomia

  • Chronic fatigue

  • Stress-related tension

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Anxiety support

  • Vagus nerve stimulation

Bone Health & Density Support

  • Osteopenia

How Vibration Therapy Works

Depending on the approach, therapy may include:

  • Whole-body vibration platforms

  • Localized vibration to muscles or nerves

  • Frequency-specific stimulation

  • Integration with movement, balance, or rehab exercises

Treatment is customized to the individual’s neurological and physical needs.

Vibration Therapy is non-invasive and gentle.  Used as a stand-alone or complementary therapy. Results vary based on consistency and overall care plan. Not appropriate for everyone (certain medical conditions may apply).
